Preparing a property for vacancy is important for ensuring safety, insurance and legal compliance, as well as maximizing revenue when you return. Here are some tips to help prepare your property for vacancy.

  1. Make sure all windows and doors are securely locked.

  2. Unplug all major electrical appliances.

  3. Install security systems, including cameras and motion detectors.

  4. Clean and tidy the property.
