Property damage does not automatically mean insurance coverage. Claims may be denied because of exclusions, gradual damage, vacancy conditions, reporting problems, weak documentation, or inaccurate information.

A restoration report creates a clear record of what happened, what was damaged, which emergency actions were taken, and what work remains. It can strengthen an insurance claim, but it cannot create coverage that the policy does not provide.
